The Social Network

MONEY, FAME AND ALL THAT

They've said it right.Who has 500 millions friends must have enemies too.The movie presents the life of Mark Zuckerberg who is the CEO and founder of the facebook and the life that surrounds him.The aspect of the movie is great as well as the atmosphere. It really shows how can a nerd down-to-earth person become a genius someone and also the youngest billionaire in the world. Also the movie stars hip-hop singer Justin Timberlake and the future Spider-Man ,Andrew Garfield.
According to Mark Z. the movie is "40 percent true" as it shows fictional events as well which gives the movie a dramatic color.

True or false-factor here or there it can't ignore the fact that the show has already been nominated for several globes and faces the oscars with a pretty good chance of winning it.Actors have been great, not great, amazing. That said, Justin and Andrew both rose in a higher level with their performences because honestly  i've seen both of them in movies but here they've showed us viewers more passion. They took this "job" really seriously and for that the price can be payed and by price I mean the OSCAR.

And speaking of the Justin, he was just hillarous and serious at the time. His performance was undeniable awesome. He played Nepster founder Sean Parker. The one who "took" Mark under his wings and helped him get recognised starting with telling him to take the out from facebook.
The movie overall was about friendship, partnership, trust, money and fame and to tell it corporated these elements perfectly. All I can say about it that from my part get's a 9 out of 10 points.
My advice?Go and watch it, you won't be dissappointed.

Being Human & The Cape

Both tv shows began airing as a mid-season show.Have to say I've enjoyed Being Human much more than The Cape apart being a comic geek.

Being Human is the re-adaptation of the show. For those who haven't watched the previous one should enjoy this one.I sure did. It's about a vampire, werewolfe and ghost living in an apartment trying to have a normal life. Can't say it'll be easy. The show stars well known actors like Sam Witer from Force Unleashed and Smallville, Sam Huntington from Superman:Returns and Fanboys, Mark Pellegrino from Lost and Supernatural.
It's been one of the best new shows this year(well counting from september 2010).The acting was awesome from both Sams and Mark's part althou the girl who played the ghost seemed a bit irritated but ultimately it was fine. Can't wait for the next ep. iTunes rulezzz xD

The Cape follows the life of a cop who was framed and now fights justice on his own with his family thinking he died.David Lyions did a terrific job on playing this caped vigilante.Who loves Batman or any other freelance superheroes should defenitely check this show out.Trust me you won't regret it.One of the things that bothered me during the Pilot episode was that things moved too fast.I love shows with fast actions but as the very first episode of a new show things should play out slow and after that get fast.Anyhow I loved it.Wasn't crazy about it thou.Hope next ep will be a better one.

Overall

BEING HUMAN :  4/5
THE CAPE          : 3/5

Yu-Gi-Oh! The Final Duel

I've been watching YGO since 2004-05 but never considered taking it too seriously until I saw the last episode of the show and knew that this anime wasn't meant just for kids but to adult viewers as well. The last episode was a more deeper emotional one which presented the final duel of the original show. The duel between Yugi Muto and the spirit of the puzzle, Pharao Atem who's been in this world for almost 3.000 years and the only task was to set his spirit free is to loose a duel.Althou this was the first time he hoped for his opponent's victory his pride didn't allowed him to take it easy and fought with great braveness. Many thought that Atem was the king of games but ultimately all saw that the true kings of games was non other then Yugi himself.
The game was a blast because Atem used his own signature cards like Dark Magician,Dark Magician Girl, Monster Reborn and the 3 Egyptian God Cards while Yugi had to construct his own deck with cards like Gandora the Dragon of Destruction .
The duel was intense but Yugi ultimately beat the Pharao and set his soul free.
The final scene concluded with Atem walking into the shinny door to the next world where the spirits rest while hoping that the braveness and kindness he gave his friends will live through them forever.Joey,Tristan and Tea were assuring him that he will remain in their hearts as their best friends but Tea felt otherwise for him just wasn't brave enough to admit it
As for the show it really evolved from a childish show to a more mature serial. The first season was all about dueling and having fun but as the show procceeded it became more mature and character realistic.Maybe thats why it offspringed two more Yu-Gi-Oh related spin offs like Yu-Gi-Oh! GX(which between us was a shame with its childish theme) and Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's which from my point of view is the TRUE follower of the first series.
I'll rate the show with a 7.5 out of 10 and the final episode a 8.7/10.

Happy Late New Year - 2011
